“An excellent place to buy South Indian food. It is not a restaurant, so to can’t dine there but you can buy food To Go. You will find more Kerala dishes there. You will get both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food which includes Rice and curries, Biryani, chicken /beef/fish curries. You can also buy snack items. You will find more variety of items on Sundays. They offer catering service, so you can order items for functions”

“They are really fantastic. We have ordered from them for parties at the University of Chicago: their portions are large, and the Malayali food is really, really, amazing. For the amount and the quality, the price is quite reasonable. Beef cutlets, fish mouli, porota, and thoran, are especially great.”

“My extended family and I have used most if not all of the available Kerala catering companies and Elite is at the top of the list when it comes to quality and pricing. Benny and Babu both take pride in food preparation and making sure that it’s affordable for their customer base. Besides catering options, they also allow customers to carryout food as well. It’s best to call in advance to ensure they have food available as it sells out often”

“Although this place is listed for it’s catering, they offer multiple take out options. I’m used to eating Northern Indian food but it’s nice to have an option for Malyali Kerala Indian food close by. They have great tasting samosas, fish cutlets, meat cutlets, pork curries, and fish curries. I tried it for the first time on Saturday based on a recommendation from a friend and the owner was kind enough to let me sample some small portions of a few dishes so I knew what to order. Some of the food was super spicy but I still liked it. I really liked the samosas and cutlets. The chicken was a bit boney but still very tasty.”
